SMC Points are added to your account balance after a payment is confirmed through our third party vendor, Plaid, and after it is determined that a purchase is a qualifying purchase under a reward offer you joined. Users of the app get rewarded for making transactions at local businesses. In order to identify transactions, users are required to link their card account to the app. The card-linking process is performed via a third-party provider, Plaid.
This process can take up to 10 business days and the SMC Points should appear in your account in the App once it’s done.
